Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale provides the finest musical training to talented boys and men from the Greater Philadelphia area, regardless of their ethnic, religious or economic backgrounds. The Choir performs a diverse repertoire emphasizing the preservation and promotion of American music. Our goal is for each boy to achieve artistic excellence, strength of character, self-discipline and focus through the rehearsal and performance of music. Boys learn the importance of hard work, decorum, diversity and the appreciation of international and cultural traditions. The Choir represents the United States and Philadelphia throughout the world as America's Ambassadors of Song.

The Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale has traveled the globe for more than forty years as America’s Ambassadors of Song. Since 1968, we have been the premier boys choir in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Learning

The annual tour abroad is very demanding - with many concerts to sing, people to meet and events to attend as cultural ambassadors. But there’s always time to kick back and have fun!

The Choir has performed for five U.S. presidents, numerous heads of state and in the great venues of the world, including the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall.

Whether it’s looking for diamonds in South Africa or snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, the boys do things and see places on tour that most people only dream of.

The Choir is made up of boys from neighborhoods all over Philadelphia and its suburbs. The boys build friendships, based on working hard and succeeding together, which can last a lifetime.
